Dominique and Matthew’s wedding at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens was a beautiful way to experience the charm of Brookfield – the gardens lovingly caressed by the sunlight, the songs of the birds in the trees and the sound of the streams soothing your senses…
When I first visited Bundaleer with Dominique I could easily see why it felt like the perfect match for her and Matthew to share their promises of love. All the details of their day were lovingly prepared and made by family members – Matt’s mom and sisters did the flowers and decorations, Dom’s sister Pollyanna made their beautiful cake, her mom made her veil and the flower girl Eva’s dress, and Heidi did all the stationery and wedding invitations. With her love of making doll dresses, Dominique also made a little dress for her favourite Swiss doll that went into the petal basket to match the flower girl’s.
While spending time with Dominique during her preparations and portraits, she would often light up and have an unshakable grin of excitement on her face, this girl could not wait!!
Dominique & Matthew, thank you. Thank you for letting me in to experience your excitement and love for each other, for trusting me with your special day, for letting us witness how much you love each other and having us as a part of your day. It was a great honour and I wish you a marriage filled with love and understanding, with many things to look forward to and a happy family one of these days :)
