Elsie has such genuine, loving and relaxed parents. Being their first baby, she is surely the biggest gift they have ever received!
While she was growing in her mom’s belly, her nickname was “Little Bear” or “Bear” – so when they saw my little bear collection and said that we were all excited to use one in some of her setups :)
I looked up the meaning of Elsie’s name and found this: “Elsie is a Scottish baby name. In Scottish the meaning of the name Elsie is: A , meaning ‘my God is bountiful’, or ‘God of plenty.’. Also a diminutive of the Scottish Elspeth. More popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries than today.” What amazing words to be spoken over her life! She is sure to make a difference in many lives, and I am sure God will use her in powerful ways by the example she sets for others. Beautiful, on the inside as she is on the outside.
Little ones grow so so quickly, and having these images of her while she is so little will be something that her family will be able to enjoy for generations to come. It is remarkable how powerful photos are, especially printed photos you can look through without being bombarded by technology and all its distractions. When Elsie is 6 years old she will look at these photos and realise how little she was, how loved she was right from the beginning.
