So if you’ve visited my site before you will recognise these two faces :) The wonderful couple, Rianke & Matthew, who got engaged earlier this year! They have been a huge inspiration to many, and their journey is about to unfold into their happy, fairytale ending. You see, they have been in a long distance relationship for over THREE years!! Yes, you heard me, years. And it’s about to come to an end (the distance, that is) :) This beautiful girl and handsome guy are getting married in 2 1/2 months!
This post is a few months after they got engaged, but because we did two photo shoots when Matt visited Rianke from South Africa, I thought I’d spread them out… And I wanted to see first which photos they wanted for their Save the Dates! Since most of their wedding plans are complete, and the date has been saved, there is no more reason to wait for photos that I’ve loved looking at over and over. It’s the deep love that these two share, along with their inspiring story of perseverance, faith, faithfulness, growing together, being best friends and breaking down all the barriers of a relationship under constant weight of circumstances, that makes their story a great one to share. Their wedding is taking place in the beautiful South Africa, at a wedding venue that has so many romantic offerings, it will surely be a memorable day!
May your love deepen into a mature love, may you spend so much time together that you never miss those months of being far away, and may your relationship and marriage be forever blessed. It’s been an honour playing a small part in your story.
